For Red Dress Day (May 5) the Mamidosewin Centre is hosting an awareness and honouring event for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). To support this awareness event, the Indigenous Initiatives office is putting a call out the the Algonquin College community asking for donations of red dresses. These dresses will be hung up around the Algonquin College Ottawa Campus on May 9 bringing awareness.
